Start your 5 Nights & 6 Days pilgrimage from Jammu or Srinagar, traveling through Pahalgam, Chandanwari, Sheshnag, and Panchtarni as you trek towards the sacred Amarnath Cave for Darshan of the naturally formed Ice Shivlinga. This soulful trip combines spiritual perseverance with the unmatched beauty of the Himalayas.

Along the route, witness the blooming meadows of Dudhpathri, walk through the pine-scented woods of Yusmarg, and pause at the tranquil Nilnag Lake. After receiving blessings at the holy cave, descend and unwind in the cool breezes of Patnitop, Sanasar, and Bhaderwah—a hidden Himalayan gem blessed with gushing streams, peaceful trails, and dense deodar forests.

Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Srinagar Airport / Jammu Railway Station – Pahalgam

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport or Jammu Railway Station/Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Pahalgam. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 2: Pahalgam – Chandanwari – Sheshnag

Depart Pahalgam and head toward Chandanwari (2,896 m) through the Valley of Shepherds. From Chandanwari, begin the 13 km trek to Sheshnag (3,576 m). The trail ascends Pissu Ghati before gaining altitude steadily to reach Sheshnag Lake. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in tents at Sheshnag.

Day 3: Sheshnag – Panchtarni – Amarnath Cave – Panchtarni

Begin your trek from Sheshnag to Panchtarni (3,657 m), crossing the 4,276 m high Mahagunas Pass before descending to Panchtarni. Continue trekking 6 km from Panchtarni to the holy Amarnath Cave. Take a holy dip in the Amravati stream near the cave and offer prayers before the sacred Ice Shivlinga. After Darshan, trek back to Panchtarni for dinner and an overnight stay in tents.

Day 4: Panchtarni – Baltal

After early morning prayers, descend along the steep path to Baltal (approx. 4-hour trek). Check into your campsite at Baltal base camp for dinner and an overnight stay in tents.

Day 5: Baltal – Srinagar

Depart in the morning from Baltal and drive back to Srinagar. En route, option to visit Manasbal Lake and Kheer Bhawani Temple (on direct payment basis). Check into your Srinagar hotel or houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure Day

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport or Jammu Railway Station for your return journey.
