Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Board Overnight Train to Amritsar

Upon arrival in Delhi, our tour representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the New Delhi Railway Station to board an overnight train to Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar Sightseeing

Arrive in Amritsar early in the morning and check into your hotel. After breakfast and refreshing, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour. Visit Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) and Jallianwala Bagh. In the evening, travel to the Attari-Wagah Border to witness the ceremonial Beating Retreat ceremony. Overnight stay at the hotel in Amritsar.

Day 3: Amritsar – Jammu – Katra

After early breakfast, drive to Jammu. Visit the famous Raghunath Temple complex, one of Northern India’s largest temple complexes housing seven shrines. Afterwards, proceed to Katra (approx. 1.5 hours drive) and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Katra – Vaishno Devi Darshan – Katra

Early in the morning, proceed to Banganga to begin the 13 km trek to the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine (Bhavan). Pilgrims can trek on foot or hire a pony/palki (doli) at their own cost. Helicopter services up to Sanjichhat can also be availed optionally at direct cost. After Darshan and Pooja, trek back down to Katra for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Katra – Srinagar (approx. 8–10 hours drive)

After early breakfast, check out and proceed on a scenic drive to Srinagar across mountain roads and through the Jawahar Tunnel. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Srinagar – Sonmarg (approx. 2.5 hours drive)

Drive to Sonmarg ("Meadow of Gold"), situated amidst alpine valleys, flowers, and lakes. Sonmarg serves as a major base camp for the Amarnath Yatra. Check into your hotel upon arrival and spend the evening at leisure exploring the surrounding nature. Overnight stay at Sonmarg.

Day 7: Sonmarg – Neelgarth / Baltal – Panchtarni – Amarnath Cave

Early in the morning, proceed to Neelgarth Helipad. Board a helicopter to Panchtarni (approx. 10 minutes flight, subject to weather conditions). From Panchtarni, trek 6 km to the Holy Amarnath Cave (or hire a pony/palki at your own cost). Perform Darshan and Pooja. Return to Panchtarni for return helicopter transit to Neelgarth, or spend the night in tented accommodation at Panchtarni (at direct cost if delayed by weather/queues). Overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg/Srinagar or Panchtarni camp.

Day 8: Sonmarg – Srinagar Sightseeing

Drive back to Srinagar. Visit prominent places of worship and heritage, including Kheer Bhawani Temple, Sharada Temple ruins, and the famous Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh). Check into your hotel/houseboat for an overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 9: Srinagar – Gulmarg Excursion – Srinagar

After breakfast, take a 2-hour drive to Gulmarg ("Meadow of Flowers"). Enjoy optional pony rides or the famous Gondola cable car ride (on direct payment basis). Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Srinagar – Patnitop – Jammu

Depart early for Jammu. En route, visit the 1,100-year-old Avantivarman Temple ruins dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and stop at Patnitop to visit the 600-year-old Nag Mandir. Continue the drive to Jammu (approx. 3 hours from Patnitop) and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Jammu – Drive to Delhi

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed on your return drive to Delhi (approx. 11 hours road journey), concluding your 11-day spiritual pilgrimage.
