Package Overview

The annual Amarnath Yatra is one of India's most revered Hindu pilgrimages, drawing lakhs of devotees to the Holy Cave situated at an altitude of 3,888 meters in the South Kashmir Himalayas. To make this high-altitude spiritual journey smooth and accessible, this 4-day helicopter-assisted package combines comfortable hotel stays, private transfers, and a convenient aerial route from Neelgrath (Baltal) to Panjtarni.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Srinagar – Transfer to Sonmarg

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be met and greeted by our airport representative. Proceed on a scenic drive to Sonmarg. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or optionally visit the nearby Thajiwas Glacier. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Sonmarg.

Day 2: Same-Day Return Yatra by Helicopter – Return to Srinagar

Early in the morning, transfer from Sonmarg to the Neelgrath (Baltal) helipad. Board your helicopter flight to Panjtarni (weather permitting, operations start around 06:00 AM). From Panjtarni, proceed for priority Darshan of the holy ice-made Shivlinga at the Amarnath Cave (approx. 500m to 2 km walk/pony ride from the helipad). After completing your worship rituals, return to Panjtarni for your helicopter flight back to Neelgrath. Meet our driver and enjoy a comfortable car transfer from Baltal to Srinagar. Check into a Deluxe Houseboat or hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Srinagar Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a guided city tour of Srinagar. Visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens, including Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful 1-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake, taking in the picturesque views of Char Chinar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Enjoy some leisure time until your scheduled transfer to Srinagar Airport for your return flight to your onward destination.

Exclusions

5% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Airfare or train tickets to/from Srinagar.
Lunch and personal beverages.
Pony, horse, palki (doli), or sledging charges.
Monument entrance fees, camera fees, and local guide charges.
Personal expenses such as laundry, room service, telephone calls, tips, and room heaters.
Any additional expenses arising from natural calamities, weather disruptions, or political strikes.

Important Notes & Guidelines

Weather Contingency: Helicopter operations are strictly subject to weather conditions. If flights are suspended due to bad weather or technical reasons, operators may offer alternate slots for the following day. In such cases, vehicle retention and additional night accommodation charges will apply directly to the passenger. If the flight cannot take place at all due to weather, a full refund for the unused airfare is applicable.
Mandatory Documents: All passengers must carry valid government-approved photo IDs (Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, PAN Card, or school/college photo ID).
Health Clearance: A valid Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued by an authorized medical institution/doctor is mandatory for all pilgrims as per Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) regulations.
