Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Transfer to Sonmarg (approx. 80 km / 2.5 Hours Drive)

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet our representative and proceed on a scenic drive to Sonmarg across the mountain valleys. Upon reaching Sonmarg, check into your hotel and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Sonmarg.

Important Note: As per military/security guidelines, pilgrims are requested to book early morning flights landing in Srinagar, as vehicle movement on the Srinagar–Sonmarg highway is restricted after 2:00 PM (14:00 Hrs).

Day 2: Sonmarg – Neelgarth – Panchtarni – Amarnath Holy Cave – Neelgarth – Sonmarg

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Neelgarth Helipad in Baltal. Board the helicopter for your flight to Panchtarni. Upon landing at Panchtarni, trek approximately 6 km toward the Holy Amarnath Cave on foot, or hire a pony/palki (doli) at your own expense.

Perform sacred worship rituals and Darshan of Baba Barfani. After completing Darshan, return to Panchtarni Helipad to board your return helicopter flight back to Neelgarth. Meet our driver at the helipad for your transfer back to the hotel in Sonmarg for dinner and an overnight stay.

Important Note: In case the return helicopter flight is delayed or canceled due to adverse mountain weather, pilgrims will need to stay overnight in tented accommodation at Panchtarni on a direct payment basis.

Day 3: Sonmarg – Srinagar Airport Departure (approx. 80 km / 2.5 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed on a transfer drive back to Srinagar Airport to board your return flight home, bringing your divine pilgrimage to a close.

Helicopter Guidelines & Important Terms

Weather & Flight Operations: Helicopter flights operate strictly subject to clear weather and visibility. In case of unexpected weather disruptions, VIP movement, or technical delays, every attempt will be made to adjust flights on the same day or alternative dates based on availability.
No Ticket Rollover: Unused or canceled helicopter tickets are non-transferable and will not automatically roll over to the following day.
Mandatory Documents: All guests must present valid government photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) along with the official Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) at the time of booking and boarding.
Recommended Essentials: Carry necessary personal medications, thermal innerwear, woolens, sweaters, raincoats/ponchos, sports/trekking shoes, a flashlight, mufflers, and gloves.
