Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Transfer to Sonmarg
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet our representative and proceed on a drive to Sonmarg. Check into your hotel upon arrival and relax. Overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg.
Note: The travel cutoff time at the barricade between Srinagar and Sonmarg is strictly 3:00 PM as per security protocols. Please book flights landing in Srinagar before 12:30 PM.
Day 2: Sonmarg – Neelgrath – Lower Cave (Darshan) – Neelgrath – Sonmarg
Early in the morning, drive to the Neelgrath (Baltal) Helipad to board your helicopter flight to the Lower Cave Helipad (operated between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM, subject to weather conditions).
The Holy Cave is located 500 meters from the Lower Cave Helipad (approx. 2 hours round-trip for Darshan). Due to high altitude, pilgrims are strongly advised to hire a pony or palki (doli) at direct payment. Boarding for return helicopter flights from Lower Cave operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to security regulations, pilgrims are restricted from leaving the Holy Cave after 3:00 PM. Return by helicopter to Neelgrath and transfer back to your hotel in Sonmarg for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Sonmarg – Srinagar via Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive toward Srinagar. En route, visit the revered Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple in Tulla Mulla village, built over a sacred spring believed to change colors. Arrive in Srinagar and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Srinagar – Gulmarg Day Excursion – Return to Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg ("Meadow of Flowers"), world-famous for its 18-hole golf course and winter sports slopes. Experience the iconic Gulmarg Gondola cable car ride (Phase 1 & Phase 2 up to Apharwat Peak at nearly 14,000 ft, ticket booking available online). Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Note: Due to local transport union/security protocols, outside vehicles may be parked at the Gulmarg main parking stand. Tourists may need to walk or hire local taxis to reach the Gondola station.
Day 5: Srinagar Local Sightseeing – Airport Drop
