Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Transfer to Sonmarg (approx. 83 km / 3–4 Hours Drive)

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet our representative and proceed on a scenic drive toward Sonmarg. Check into your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is free for leisure and personal activities. Dinner and overnight stay in Sonmarg.

Day 2: Sonmarg – Neelgrath – Panjtarni (Amarnath Cave) – Neelgrath – Sonmarg

Early in the morning, transfer to the Neelgrath Helipad to board your helicopter to Panjtarni (subject to weather conditions). Upon landing at Panjtarni, proceed on foot or hire a pony/palki for the remaining 5–6 km distance to the Holy Amarnath Cave.

Perform sacred Darshan of the Ice Shivlinga, then return to Panjtarni Helipad for your return helicopter flight to Neelgrath. Meet our driver at Neelgrath and transfer back to your hotel in Sonmarg for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Sonmarg to Srinagar (approx. 83 km / 3–4 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, check out from the Sonmarg hotel and drive back to Srinagar. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Later, proceed for city sightseeing visiting the world-famous Mughal Gardens—Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), and Chashme Shahi—followed by the Shankaracharya Temple. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and receive an assisted transfer to Srinagar Airport for your return flight home.

Important Pilgrim Advisory & Guidelines

Mandatory Health Certificate (CHC): All Yatris must obtain a valid Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) signed by an SASB-authorized doctor before booking or registration.
Age Restrictions: Children under 13 years of age, senior citizens above 75 years, and pregnant women beyond 6 weeks are strictly restricted from undertaking the Yatra.
Required Documents: Carry your official Yatra Registration Permit, valid Government Photo ID (Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License), and two photocopies.
High Altitude Advisory: Due to low oxygen levels at high altitudes (12,756 ft), pilgrims are advised to walk slowly, stay hydrated, and carry adequate woolens, raincoats, and sturdy footwear.
