Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kolkata / Howrah Departure

Board your designated train from Kolkata / Howrah Railway Station to Jammu Tawi. Overnight stay on board the train.

Day 2: Train Transit

Full day train journey enjoying scenic landscape views as you travel toward northern India. Overnight stay on board the train.

Day 3: Arrival at Jammu Railway Station – Transfer to Srinagar

Upon arrival at Jammu Tawi Railway Station, meet our ground representative and board your vehicle for a scenic transfer to Srinagar. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check into your hotel and unwind. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a guided sightseeing tour of Srinagar city. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi) and Shankaracharya Temple, followed by an evening boat ride on Dal Lake. (Note: Monument entry fees, boating tickets, and local cab fees are payable directly by passengers). Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 5: Srinagar to Sonmarg Transfer

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive toward Sonmarg ("Meadow of Gold"). Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing and acclimatizing to the mountain weather. Dinner and an overnight stay in Sonmarg.

Day 6: Sonmarg – Neelgrath Helipad – Holy Cave Darshan – Sonmarg

Early morning, proceed to Neelgrath Helipad (Baltal route). Board your helicopter flight to Panchtarni. From Panchtarni, trek 6 km to the Holy Amarnath Cave on foot or hire a horse/palki (at direct personal expense). Perform sacred Darshan of the naturally formed Ice Shivlinga. After Darshan, return to Panchtarni Helipad, fly back to Neelgrath, and transfer to your hotel in Sonmarg for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Sonmarg to Srinagar Return

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure for shopping or relaxing. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 8: Srinagar Check-Out – Transfer to Jammu / Srinagar Airport Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and receive a transfer drive to Jammu Tawi Railway Station or Srinagar Airport for your return departure journey to Kolkata / Howrah. Overnight stay on board the train / flight.

Day 9: Train Transit

Full day train transit back to West Bengal. Overnight stay on board the train.

Day 10: Arrival at Kolkata / Howrah

Arrive at Howrah / Kolkata Railway Station, bringing your sacred Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage to a close.

5% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Pony, Porter (Pithu), or Palki (doli) charges between Panchtarni and the Holy Cave.
Dal Lake Shikara boat rides, Mughal Gardens entrance fees, and local guide charges.
Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, tips, room heaters, and beverages.

Important Pilgrim Advisories

Mandatory Documents: Every pilgrim must possess a valid Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) signed by an authorized SASB doctor alongside a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License).
Age Limit: Pilgrims aged between 13 and 70 years are permitted to participate in the Yatra. Children under 13, adults over 70, and pregnant women beyond 6 weeks are strictly restricted.
Helicopter Operations: Helicopter flights strictly depend on clear weather conditions in the high-altitude mountains. Passengers must remain flexible in case of temporary flight delays.
