Overview & Highlights

Shri Amarnath Ji is by far the most wonderful Dham. The guardian of the absolute, Lord Shiva, is enshrined in the form of an ice Lingam in Shri Amarnath Ji Holy Cave, which is formed naturally of an ice stalagmite and is believed to wax and wane with the moon. By the side are fascinating extra lingams of Maa Parvati and Lord Ganesha. Reference to the Lingam is found in the Puranas, and there is a popular belief that the Holy Cave was rediscovered by a shepherd named Baba Malik.

Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Srinagar Airport – Sonamarg

On arrival at Srinagar Airport, transfer to Sonamarg. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Sonamarg – Panjtarni – Amarnath Cave – Srinagar

Start your Amarnath Yatra by taking a helicopter ride from Baltal to Panjtarni. From Panjtarni, visit the Holy Cave (6 km away) on foot, by horse, or by palki. After darshan, return to Panjtarni, take the helicopter back to Baltal, and transfer to Srinagar by car. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Srinagar Airport Drop

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.

Child Policy

Children under 13 years of age are not allowed for the Amarnath Yatra.

Cancellation Charges (Per Person)

• 30 Days or more prior to departure: Token non-refundable advance amount
• 30 to 15 Days prior to departure: 50% of the tour cost
• 14 to 07 Days prior to departure: 75% of the tour cost
• 07 to 01 Days prior to departure / No Show: 100% of the tour cost
